First Post
Hey guys. I have been living with POTS for about 1 1/2 years now. It really is a pain! I just want you guys to talk about anything you want on here and feel free to ask any questions. I have a question for you guys! For those of you who are teenagers, do you go to school? My family has been debating whether I should continue or not. I am in so much pain, but I feel that I may not graduate in time. I would rather not attend school because of the pain, but I don't want my family to think I'm a slacker. Any advice? Hope you guys are having an okay day!

Jacqueline, you should do what is best for yourself when considering whether to attend school or not. Do not be concerned of what your family will think because I can assure you, they won't think you are a slacker. When handling this illness, you have to remember that your family and friends will always be there for you and support your decisions without a doubt and they will do anything they can for you. I promise.
ReplyDeleteLove and Prayers to you and your family.

Haha yeah I thought it might be a little disappointing that it was from me, but I couldn't resist responding to your blog, I think you are so brave for putting your story up for people to read and be inspired from. You really are my hero, I love and miss you too.
ReplyDeleteHey i have been in and out of school for five years now because of PoTS or Dysautonomia. I would just focus on doing your best with school work and not stressing. And trust me your not a slacker its just harder for you to do things.
ReplyDeleteI homeschooled and it was so much easier. You're not a slacker at all, you just have restrictions that you have to deal with. I pray that things get better for you.
